    Chemical Water Absorption Mechanism

    Long-chain molecules formed by polymerization of monomers such as SAP and acrylic acid are crosslinked with crosslinking agents to create an elastic three-dimensional network structure.When SAP comes into contact with liquids, the ion concentration gradient within the reticular structure generates a strong osmotic pressure, driving water to rapidly infiltrate the network within seconds and be firmly locked within the lattice, thereby forming a stable hydrogel.This "chemical water absorption" mechanism enables it to absorb water at a ratio of hundreds to thousands of times its own weight, and it does not undergo reverse osmosis under pressure.
